Mcmaster Carr refuses order for $97 ?

I'm in the UK and i placed an order for $97 with this so called "world wide supplier" this is my answer ...

"Dave, Due to the ever-increasing complexity of U.S. Export regulations, McMaster-Carr has decided to only accept orders from a few, long-established customers of ours overseas. We cannot accept your order, and regret any inconvenience this causes you. Your order has been cancelled. Laura Nevrly"

So if ya in the UK or anywhere other than the USA and looking for a Mcmaster Carr product forget it ...

It's ok, i just fancied a rant, i sent them an email back quoting our special friendship across the sea and all that ha ha it just made one feel a little small when the order was cancelled but after 30 mins of meditation, Aphrodite oil and a pluck with decent quality tweezers i was fine.

Was just a heads up for anyone placing an order really ...

For anyone interested i did find a UK equivalent for Very Soft Poron ... http://www.kemtron.co.uk/poron.html
They do the 1/2" and 3/8" like Mac C, i sent them an email, they will probably reply saying they only ship to America ha ha
