I think that's one reason Hart gear offers a lot of appeal to those who have a background with acoustic drums. Most of it is pretty beefy stuff. It's heavy and FEELS like a lot of the a-kit gear. I was moving my Hart snare around the other day and was reminded of just how heavy that darned thing is.
