TD-6V Update Issue

Help, I have downloaded the udate files for my TD-6V module and have some how lost all the data. All I have when I turn the unit on is a blue display. I followed the instructions exactly but the files did not seem to transfer. Any ideas or suggestions?

Make sure that a MIDI cable marked OUT (from the PC) is connected to IN on the TD-6V, then repeat the update procedure. Having the in/out connections switched is a frequent cause of problems, and nearly everyone who has an update fail on the first try is able to run through the procedure again from start to finish and have it complete successfully.

I updated mine successfully last month. Slightly different feel to the snare.
