I would try the pad in a different input....do you get two different sounds from the bow/edge?

Check the trigger type to see that it is set to CY type or CY8. I made this simple mistake a couple of weeks back. It's very easy to accidently change it.

i had this last night, my crash wouldn't choke but it would rather re-trigger, the cable had come out slightly so it could be that..

It may be broken and you might need to send it to Roland. Don't try to fix it if you still have warrenty. Often it is the cable. Try another one.

Can anyone show me to a creating cymbal choke thread? Also I need help isolating the piezo at the bell to the piezo on the edge. Right now it doesn't seem possible to get two separate outputs and can't imagine how to solve it other than sawing to separate parts of the cymbal. An inner part and outer, and then glue them back together with isolation. Or can I solve it with threshold settings?
