  • Pearl Remote Hi Hat Rack Clamp

Can anybody recommend a clamp for the Pearl Remote Hi Hat to attach to a Roland MDS-12 Rack?

I'm really not sure how to mount this piece and have held off buying it.

My Local drum shop can order it in , but they don't know how to clamp it to the rack.

    Thanks

    Hi,
i'm also using the Pearl RH-2000 remote hihat. I have the UX-80 Clamp from pearl attached to the hihat and the standard cymbal Roland clamp from the rack to the UX-80.

Have a look at the pictures to see my setup.

    Thanks,

    Kari

If attachment directly to the rack would put it in an OK position, then a Gibraltar SC-GPRMC Clamp is an alternative mentioned in this thread: Remote Hi-Hat Hook up

I love it! Comparing to a standard hihat you need to apply a little bit more force, but you'll get used to it in a day or say. And the freedom to position the hihat whereever you like to have it is worth is weight in gold.
