  • problems with td6 crash cymbal

hello, I hope some one can help me solve this problem. Firstly, I am female and not technical. (sorry). I have a TD6 roland I bought over a year ago (second hand) I think it was a couple of years old when I bought it.
It has been working fine with no problems - gigging regularly with band.
At rehearsals yesterday the bell sound on the crash cymbal just suddenly stopped working (no sound at all).
Today I have tried changing cables, checking the jack sockets and even took the cymbal apart to check the wiring (it looks fine). All to no avail. The crash works fine but no bell sound.
Any suggestions? thanks so much - kaz (drummer with no exit) www.myspace.com/noexitsouthampton

    Welcome!

You've tried different cables, but were they TRS stereo which is required for a second zone?

Is this a Roland CY-12R/C using the bow/bell output?

Do you know which model of cymbal? (Should be on the back below the Roland logo.)
