  • Hyper-Bass drum pedal

Thanks to Mr. Render's great review and video of the Hyper-Bass conversion kit. I purchased one and I'm lovin' it! It only took about 5 minutes to set it up on my DW7000. I took it right to work and started using it without any practice. For me I decided to use it as a second pedal on the right side so I can slip back and forth during a song. This also leaves my left foot free to play the hihat when I am double-bassing (is that a word?) Hey guys, you probably know by now that I just don't do "metal", but I am finding plenty of uses for the Hyper-bass. If you approach the e-drums thinking that you can get more out of e-drums and A-drums then the Hyper-Bass is a must. I am going to order another one to put near my HH for those 8th note tamborine licks and way more cowbell. For us older drummers the Hyper-Bass is a short cut to all the hours you young guys practice for the thundering double bass sound. Here is a picture of mine.

Welcome to the club! I just got another one (the standard model) and it is killer also.

I hadn't thought of putiing one on the left for double-cowbell, but I may just have to steal your idea.

I just bought myself another double kick pedal so I might convert one to a Hyperbass pedal and put it alongside my regular kick pedal as you have. Cool stuff

How much did you pay for it?
I use a duallist pedal which I bought used for $200.....It is the same thing, but I am suspicious that this Hyper bass would be less expensive.

It depends on whether you're talking about the conversion kit or the full pedal.

I got the conversion kit on eBay for $79.99 US total. I then had to get a DW 7000 single pedal to hook it up to.

The full pedal costs $174.99 US.
