A couple of pairs of sticks, a pair of headphones and a week without interuptions to set up your sounds and get familiar with the kit (assuming you can already play that is....)

I can see the smile on your face from here !!

Yes and a Big Smile at that.... Thanks Hercules,
I have some talent.... Not a pro but like to think of myself as one when looking in the mirror while playing (No Ego probs here) but I have sticks, headphones and 2 days with the kit but,

I was looking for Comments or Suggestions regarding a Mixing Board or items of that nature. I am really clueless when it comes to running lines to the FOH and such (BTW WTF is FOH????) . I would like to get a list of items I will need(Mixer, High Quality Cables etc) for any gigs that may be in my near future. I am driving a long way this weekend to a specialty PA shop south of here to Pick up a slightly used B52 Matrix 2000 (1200 Watter with the 18 inch sub) , and would like to get all the gear I will need in one tax free trip if ya know what I mean.....

      Thanks in advance Fellow Drummahs

1/4" to XLR cables? (B52 Matrix systems only have XLR inputs, and I don't think they come with input cables?)

            Hi DrummerMark,

It sounds like you're pretty self contained once you get the loud boxes.

A roadie would certainly help - if you can find a faithful minion they often work for drinks and the adulation they get from being "with the band".

A kit of spares and repair bits is very important for live playing - there have been a few threads about that lately. I'd recommend as a minimum:
            - roll of gaff tape
            - couple of spare cymbal nuts and locators
            - couple of spare 2m TRS cables
            - tool roll to suit the kit + pliers/wire cutters
            - power board
            - extension lead
            - ear plugs
            - small first aid kit (esp. bandaids)
            - spare kick pedal
            - pen and paper
            - small torch (flashlight for the U.S.A. guys)

Now we need some pics once you are set up.
