Can't get my iron cobra beaters to hit the kd-120 squarely

I've tried adjusting everything and my iron cobra beaters only hit the kd-120 with about half of the upper part of the beater.

I can't get it to hit the kd-120 flat, at a 90 degree angle as I suppose it should be.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

The pad portion of the KD 120 will swivel on its mounts. You may have to loosen the hex screws to do this, and the pad may not be perpendicular to the floor, but you should be able tilt the pad to get the proper contact point.
