  • Pintech/TD6 setup, good deal here?

So I just made a deal with a guy to buy his kit. Lemme know if I got a good deal.

    Pintech Concertcast 12" snare
    Pintech Concertcast 10" tom (x2)
    Pintech Concertcast 12" floor tom
    Pintech Concertcast 8" kick drum
    Pintech cymbals (1-2zone, 1-3zone and 2-singles)
Pintech Hihat (with rack mount) and foot pedal
    Rack and all cables
    DW7000 double kick pedals
    Roland TD6v module

    $1100 plus shipping

The weak spot is the TD6v module in this setup, but since I'm learning I think it should suffice until I can upgrade to a TD9 or TD12 module...

    Good deal.

Congratulations, I think you'll like the Pintechs. If you do indeed like them, we can share the Pintech cheerleader uniform

I started with the TD-3 then upgraded to a TD-12.

I'd love a TD12. Just too much $$ for me right now. Plus its probably just total overkill for a beginner like myself. I wouldnt mind the added features of the TD9 though. Theres lots of adjustability, learning tools, and features in it that I wont have in the TD6v

Hey captain, It looks like a good deal to me too.

I think you will be happy with the TD-6V. Lots of good sounds, playalong tracks etc.....
