you'll need a 1/8 stereo cable (mini jack). best buy, radio shack or any electronic store will have such cable and most music stores too.
you plug one end in your ipod's headphone jack and the other end in the mix in of your module

gostviper i have done before what u said and this is how i play along too.I was wondering however which is the best way to record what i am playing while i am listening the tracks from the ipod.I mean, if i use audacity to record is there a way so i can record myself playing along the ipod tracks.

      what will be the result
just me playing on the kit or the whole track with me playing along ?

You need a program like Sonar or Cubase to record properly.
What you would do is create a new project.
A default project in Sonar has two audio tracks.
Enable record "the little red R" on an audio track.
Plug your ipod into the line in of your computers sound card.
Press record "upper red circle" on Sonar or Cubase, then press play on your Ipod.
This records your first music track "in stereo".
" Make sure you disable record on this track when finished "
OK, when that is completed and you see your 1st audio track.
Create another audio track "if its not already there".
Unplug your Ipod from your computers line in.
Plug your TD3SW line out into your computers line in "just like your Ipod"
Repeat the same steps as before. "but on another track"
You will hear the first track while you record your second track.
Your music track and your drum track are now separate.
You can do this over and over again.
You can add as many tracks "Bass, Guitar, Vocals" as your computer can process.
Hope this breaks it down a little for you.
