Ok, so i was wondering, since recording midi to an mp3 is not possible with the sounds on the TD-12 (or whatever model), as you need other sets of sounds to associate with triggers, etc...I was wondering, since Vexpressions go on your computer, if there was a way to take the wonderfully realistic sounds of the Vexpressions, and use them with midi tracks to record to an mp3? I hope this question is clear... Thanks in advance.

If you want the VEX sounds, why not just record the audio straight from the module, and bypass midi altogether? Then convert the audio into mp3.

well, im not doing straight audio because i cant figure out how. I bought the cable with 2 1/4" to a 1/8" plug, put it in my audio in jack in my computer, tried to record on both the audio out left and right on the module and master out left and right, and its not registering to audacity...so I'm pretty much screwed right now.
