  • TD-3 and TD-6 Variable High Hat

Do they TD-3 and TD-6 have variable high hat sounds, or is it just a simple on/off high hat sounds are either closed or open like cheaper modules?

Im just trying to work out If its worth putting a variable switch into my high hat for my acoustic conversion or If a simple switch under the peddle is going to do the same job.

    Thanks

They both have variable hi-hat with at least a few half-open sounds (more on the TD-6 than the TD-3 to most ears), not just on/off.

I have both modules and use a e-clutch on both. The TD-3 has maybe 3 variations (open, half-open, closed). The TD-6 has way more levels between open and closed. I mainly use the one on my TD-3 to keep it closed.
