  • TD20 Cymbal & Snare Options

    I sold my acoustic set and I'm ready to buy my e-kit soon w/ the TD20 module. I wonder though what customizing options I will have in regard to the cymbal and snare sounds. I know you can adjust the cymbal size, add sizzle, but can you choose thin crash or heavy crash, dark crash, etc. - my K custom dark crash is also gone w/my acoustic set.

    ...and on the snare, I know you can choose wood, steel, depth, etc. are you able to choose maple, birch, etc?

    if you cant wait, go to the roland site and download the manual...in the rear is a list of all the drum instruments that you can choose;

    The Global website of Roland Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic musical instruments, including keyboards and synthesizers, guitar products, electronic percussion, digital recording equipment, amplifiers, audio processors, and multimedia products.

    As well as lists of preprogrammed drum kits (get VEX instead) and backing tracks...

    Keep the beat...
    TD9+6v with Diamond Electronic pads, and cowbell.
    ATH-50m headphones, VEX packs
    not to mention keyboards, guitars, basses, and cats
