  • How do I listen to my music through my amp?

I really need to know how to listen to my music through my amp. I need to know what cords, software,......etc......that I need. I have the Simmons DA200S Electronic Drum Set Monitor. Thanks a lot

    Jake,

More information needed. What are you using to play your music back through? Computer? Ipod? Reel-to-reel tape? Wire recorder? How many inputs available in your amp?

Basically it's very simple. Buy whatever adapters are needed to get the signal from your source to your amp. You will likley need to combine a stereo signal to a mono, so hopefully the staff at Radio Shack will be able to help - if they're not too busy selling batteries or cell phones, that is...

I looked at a photo of your amp. Next to the headphone jack is a line-in, and looks like a 1/8" jack. Just run a cord from your source into that 1/8" jack.

If you're going to Radio Shack, this is the item:
          1/8" to 1/8" stereo cable
