Old-school be-bop acoustic player needs some advice on upgrading a put-together rig. I have cobbled together
a Pearl Traveler kit with mesh heads and stick-on triggers and an Alesis DM5 brain. I used extra drums for cymbals. 1) Could I get better cymbals to use
with this rig? 2)What triggers would someone recommend? I like the feel of bigger mesh heads and don't really like the Rolands. Thanks.

Sounds like you have Do It Yourself leanings. Cobbling is just the beginning. Check out the DIY section...you can spend hours/days/weeks in there learning how to make your own pads or cymbals. I'm about to head down the DIY road myself.
