Do the PDX-8 Mesh heads require replacement?

After awhile of use? I couldn't find any online so I figured there aren't any. Anyone have to replace theirs?

The Roland MH-8 8-inch Mesh Replacement Head is available from many retailers. Check page 7 of the PDX-8 manual for when and how, but it should be many years before it's necessary.
