  • TDW-12 ? Is it something we can hope ?

    Hi all !

I'm now really jalous of all TD20 users ! The TDW-20 is really something I would like to have !

I've got a TD12 ; do you think we can (one day) get an expansion card ? Can this module be upgraded ?

I wish you all a nice evening.

The TD12 doesn't have an expansion slot like the TD20 does. Do you have any of the VEX packs? (see the VEX link in my signature). They are a BIG leap up from the stock TD12 sounds.

The TDW-12 was released as code name MIDI. It has been available for a few years and recently updated to S2.0. Kicks arse on anything Roland could hope for in a TDW-20 so don't bother wasting your money going that direction. Someone tell me I'm wrong.

For me, I am glad I didn't lay down the extra dough for the TD-20 a couple of months ago. Zero misgivings.
