VEX kit needed for gigging

I'm interested in purchasing the masters pack for gigging with my TD-12. I was just wondering if this would be the best one for the job or is there another one I should try instead. And does anybody have any experience gigging with vex kits?

It's not a matter of luck...it's just a matter of time.
