Are you sure you can't find any discussions on here? The TD-10 was a very long time the top of the line model, and I know it has been discussed a lot on this forum.
Is it just the TD-10 by itself, or does it have the TDW-1 installed as well? If it's installed, dón't take it out!
Stijn'lectric drumma
Roland TD-20, Hart Dynamics 7.6, 2 x PD-7, extra PD-7 and Hart Snare laying around, Vic Firth Dave Weckl signature sticks, Axis A-longboards double pedal, Sony MDR-CD780 headphones and not enough inputs.

Hey daveybabes
Mine is a TD-6 not a V model but I do have the manual, power supply and a nice flight case which should add a few more quid, plus I can post for free from work, the benefit of being one of the managers..lol.
I have an oldish laptop and already have a midi cable as I use an SPD-6 but am looking for advice on what midi box/unit/rack to buy and what software to run on a Win98/mill system.
Maybe a beer and a chat is in order seeing as your a fellow Stokie? I am in Tunstall btw.
cheers fella

Yeah you got a good deal ...
Ideal for midi, to use with something like EZ drummer and Toontrack solo. Just need a midi cable, midi interface with low latency drivers, load the software and away ya go.

Hiya
Hiya
Sometimes there seems to be a shortage of TD6's on Ebay or maybe just 1 or 2, that's a good time to sell, i'm always surprised how well these things sell on there.
As an interface something like this would be fine http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tascam-US-122-...d=p3286.c0.m14
EZ Drummer is about the easiest software to use, but it does state windows xp mmm http://www.toontrack.com/ezdrummer.asp
Depends what your goals are and what ya wanna do with the midiie if you want a complete software studio for recording etc
I used to Run Ableton Live and Reason for sequencing and samples with a controller keyboard. Cubase is good, never used that though. Ideally maybe Cubase with EZ Drummer.
Beer and chat cooli'm no expert but i can normally suss it out after a whack on the head with a big stick.
I'm in Werrington ...
Checked Vexpressionsltd out?

looks like i may have to invest in a more up to date laptop or OS and wipe this one, the expression site seems to be down?
Will keep an eye on the Tascam for that kind of money i can always buy it for future use.
checked eBay around four TD-6 brains for sale so may wait a week or two as you suggested a wise plan but funds may get tight by months end...lol
I tried to add you as a friend to sort out beer plans, no idea where you are in relation to me as i am a Manc and not been here too long.
