  • Sorry noob question... did search though....[V-kits order]

Ok. Now that that's out of the way......

I "upgraded" from a TD6 to a TD8 recently, and then bought the V-Exp top 50. This is, in my mind/ears, a great upgrade, but I'm curious about the progression of the V-Series....?

The numbers don't seem to follow the "natural" progression of the series. Can someone post the "order" that these would be if I were to say "catch a case of the GAS"? Birthday is just a few days away...???... hummm....

    Thanks,
    dbl

        TD-5 and TD-7 first, don't know what was the first one. TD-10, TD-8, TD-10 expanded, and TD-6 (first version), TD-6 second version and TD-3. TD-20, TD-12, TD-9. I think that's it.

Top of the line modules are TD-10, got replaced by TD-20, but is still a great module. Than TD-8 which got replaced by the TD-12. If I'd had to choose between the 12 and the 10 (expanded that is), I think I'd had a hard time. If TD-10 had interval control, I think I'd go for the 10.

For the order of the modules, I thínk that 's it... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow, the TD10 is 11 years old now? What year did the TDW-1 get released?

              Thanks everyone for the replies!!

I don't have the funds for a 20, but it seems that a 12 would be the next step up?.?.? An expanded 10 doesn't sound bad either though. I'm having fun with the 8, but boy do I have bad GAS!!! On that note, the price of "GAS" seems to be getting higher as well!!! Maybe we should use a different acronym (instead of GAS) so the prices of these kits don't follow the pump! LOL!

              Thanks again,

Well, according to this progression, the replacement for the TD-20 will NOT be the TD-30. It will be the TD-4 due out in 2011...followed a year later with an incredible new release to the series...the TD-2. Can't Wait!

Edit: actually, the way things are headed, the next model will be the TD-$.
