Hi, I've read a lot about the TD9 possibly being inferior to the TD12 and TD20 when hooking it up to a laptop and tweaking individual drum sounds, but i'm not that interested in post production tweaking of individual snare hits etc.
What i am interested in is using the TD9 as a trigger of a computer based sequencer etc with, say a rimshot, or cymbal hit. Is the TD9 capable of this? How exactly is the td9 inferior to the 12 and 20 when hooking up to a computer? If you havent guessed, i'm a newby to all this
