I'm on my 4th kit in 2 months. I've gone from a TD-6 to a TD-9s to an acoustic kit to a TD-9kx now I'm on my way to a TD-12. I think I'm addicted to Roland. I know this has been discussed 1,000 times here, but I'd like to hear it one more time before I jump into the 12. It would be my luck that I buy the 12 and Roland will discontinue it next month and come out with the TD-15 or something. I know there are differences exclusive to the two modules (TD-9, TD-12). I'm more interested in sound quality and editing functions. I'm not looking for training tools or rhythm coaches. Plus the availability of the VEX kits are important as well. I guess I just need to be able to justify the purchase. LOL

At this rate - you should be celebrating Fourth of July by breaking in a new TD-20 set...Hart Pro 6.4 (Hammered Chrome), Roland TD-8, Gibraltar Throne w/ Backrest, Tama Iron Cobra Bass Pedal, ALTEC A7-500 "Voice of the Theatre" Speaker/Horn System with Sunn Concert Slave amp and lot of other audio stuff, Sony MDR-7506 Headphones, Zildjian DipSticks - and Czech Skorpian, Heckler & Koch MP5, etc Submachine Guns to stick out the window behind my kit for some quite unique fills...

I thought I'd be content with my original configuration with a single module when I first bought home my kit, and I was....... for a short while..... then I started getting ideas!!!
Oh, and that kit you saw was probably Computerman's kit.

IT MUST BE MINE! is the motto for GAS.
which is why I am upgrading to a TD-9, even though it costs my entire month's state allowance, leaving me with the choice to either go without food in july, conduct black magic rituals or finally find out just exactly what are those packages at the bottom of the freezer.
Now where did i leave those black dribbly candles....?TD9+6v with Diamond Electronic pads, and cowbell.
