Hello all,

I was wondering what most people are using for a cowbell on their vdrums. I have a TD-12 and don’t want to dedicate a pad or a cymbal to a cowbell, but would like to add one. Any suggestions?

I got the fever and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Hey Blackhawk if you have an extra pedal trigger you could use that. You could play a beat along with the cowbell with your other foot and could assign a tamborine to some of the presets also ( adds a nice effect to the beat), Depending on the song you're playing. You could do a DIY to an old cowbell and wrap it with rubber and place a piezo inside it.

I use the rim of a PD-8 on Tom 1 of my TD-6 and on my TD-3 I have the HH set to Cowbell and trigger it with my FD-8. That way I have two different cowbell sounds.

Gotta have that cowbell!
