TD8: Are the Kick and Aux inputs Piezo/Piezo

I was looking into the idea of making some devices which I could connect to the spare inputs of my TD8. I have already made one and it works better than I expected. But I was under the impression that other than the snare input the TD8 were all Piezo/Switch inputs, so I was limited into making one, just for the Aux "Pad" input.

But looking at the manual, the Kick and Aux inputs appear to take 2 pads, implying that they will take Piezos on both the rim and pad input.

If this is the case, I now have an extra 2 inputs to play with..

Can anyone confirm that this is right?

Yes, both the kick inputs 1/2 and the aux inputs 11/12 can be split with a standard insert cable for two piezo triggers.
