  • Where to buy Hart mesh heads?

    Hey everyone!

After much lurking and research I'm jumping back into the world of e-drumming.
I had an Alesis D4 with some Roland and Dauz pads which lasted me about 15 years.
Last year i bought a Tama Superstar kit which I love, but am now looking to use it as both an acoustic and electric kit.

I just bought a TD-20 and some Roland cymbals and my next step is to get mesh heads and triggers for the drums.

I'm thinking of the Hart Dynamics Kontrol Screen Magnums since I can get all sizes for my drums. The problem is, where to buy them?!? I went to 2 Guitar Center stores and a Sam Ash and none of the stores stocks them. I've been looking online and see they are available from GuitarCenter.com, Music123.com and Musiciansfriend.com...however both Music123 and Musiciansfriend have horrible ratings and reviews on Resellerratings.com. (RMCAudio also has them but only in a few sizes)

So those of you out there who have purchased the Hart Magnum heads, where did you get them?

    Thanks much.

I have bought a number of them from Musician's Friend. I'm not sure what bad ratings you're talking about - I've always had great dealings with them (an occasional backorder on some items, but they communicate well. They've always had the Hart Magnums in stock when I ordered), and stuff is usually on my doorstep within 3-4 days. I think they still have free shipping on orders over $99. If you're ordering a bunch of heads you should have no problem reaching that (and if you're just short of $99, order some sticks or something!).

      Thanks freddar.

Good to know that you've ordered from them without problems.
I was really hoping to just walk into a store and buy them but I guess I'll have to order online.

If anyone else has a source for the Hart Magnums, I'm all ears.

      Thanks

We carry all sizes of Hart mesh heads, not just what's listed on the site. Just let me know what you're looking for.
