  • I'm pulling the hair outta my head!

Forgive me if this question has been asked already...But I think I jumped too soon. I bought a Roland td-6 about a month and a half ago. Just about the same time the td-9 hit stores. I bought the 6 cause I would have had to wait a couple weeks for the 9. I was just plain impatient. Now I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice. I REALLY want a td-12. But I couldn't afford it at the time. Are the differences big between the 6 and 9 as far as sounds and dynamics? Should I run out buy a td-9 module or just be happy with the six and save for a td-12?

    Td12

Save for a TD12, it's gonna be around and superb for years, good sound engine, positional detection, v editing, lotsa inputs, 6 band mixer on front, they rock! add a vex kit and tweak and u r sorted for years.

It's like many things...buy as much as you can afford. The 12 was just a bit beyond my threshold, so I got the 9. Maybe someday....

For what it's worth...be happy with your TD-6V and save for the TD-12. It's worth the wait. That's what I did.

well....I went back to guitar center, and they said they'll take my 6 back and give me the floor model 9 for a %15 restocking fee. What do you guys think? I'm a little weary about floor models.

Hmm.. the modules are pretty robust. Not much can go wrong and you will have full warranty don't u? I think it's a great deal if they take your TD6 back. thumbs up!

Think about it...they have only had this for a few weeks. Not that something COULD be wrong with it, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it. As long as it is covered by the warranty, I say its a spectacular deal.

Thats true. I forgot about the warranty. As I was walking out of GC I saw a little kid WAILING on the thing, and I was thinking to myself..."Oh God!"
