  • Recording to video

Hey gang...I must apologize as I'm generally all thumbs when it comes to electronics...anyhoo..

For ****s and giggles I'm trying to record myself playing my td9kx to my digital video camera. Everything seemed fine, patched the mono out into the camera...however the the recording level is off the map. The camera can't be adjusted--I think--and I've come across nothing in the manual about td9 output. Is there a way to do this so it sounds normal? Splitter from the headphone out maybe?

    Hi Evy,

When you say "off the dial" I assume you mean peaking out.

Make sure you haven't plugged in to the external microphone input on your video camera - you need to go into a line input.

The volume control on the TD-9 should then let you set the right level.
