  • What is that metal hook atop the TD9 for?

It's a question that's been circling my head from the first day I layed eyes upon this great sounding module in March. Anyone know?

My TD-9 has entered the solar system, traveled to earth, peirced the atmosphere, and finally touched down gently on my back yard all the way from Planet Rolandus.

Protect a plugged-in USB memory key (flash drive).

However, of the 5 usb keys I own, NONE are nearly short enough to be protected. I walked past the module the other night and bumped the usb drive with my hip and heard a crack....although everything still works fine. I know, clumsy....
The drive manufacturers are partly to blame. When I hold my PNY 8GB drive up to the light, clearly one third of the drive is "space" within the end of the case. Dumb.
I'm liking the Sandisk Gator drives....nice and stubby.
