Morning all,
My band uses a ton of my gear to record etc and I am the default sound tech. (Even though my guitarist has a degree in sound engineering..grrrr..)
I am not at all versed in the world of mixers/pa's etc. or seperating channels, which is where my question is really going.
We all plug in to a 24 chnl mixer, and send to a headphone amp. (Behringer..I know I know..but it was cheap and hasn't failed yet.)
Roland td10 into 2 channels, 4-5 vocal mics, 2 guitars (each with varying affects boxes etc, but using one board input each), and bass, then into the headpnone amp, and out to all.
How do I get a custom mix into everyone's headphones while maintaining a solid well mixed "main sound". I'm trying to eliminate the "turn me up" aspect that seems to be ruining the mix.
-Thanks all!
