Does anyone know the differences between the Sonic Maximizer 422 and the 482? Will the 422 do what a VDrummer needs?

The 482 replaced the 462 and I suspect the 882 replaced the 862. The only difference between the 462 and 482 is a different color on the face plate, at least visually. The headroom of both is +18 dBu. The 882/862 has balanced outputs and headroom of +23dBu.

I've never run out of headroom using the 462, either with the stereo output of the board or just with the TD 10. The BBe is the best bang-for-the-buck I've ever gotten.

          Hope this helps.
