  • Hart Mega Pro

Quick question: I am still waiting (not so patiently anymore) for the Mega Pro kit I ordered. In anticipation (like a new father), I have been getting everything I need ahead of time in place. I keep glancing longingly at the JPEG file of the picture of the kit and a question has surfaced: Does the Mega Pro come with a snare stand for the snare or is that one more thing I have to go get? Anyone know? I can call Hart tomorrow to find out but wanted to check here first...

    Thanks and happy drumming.

no drumkit comes with a snare stand unless stated......acoustic or otherwise.....all u need is a stand of any make, brand doesn't matter.just make sure the legs are double brace and it fits a 12 inch or 13 inch snare snuggly.have fun!

How annoying is this? They specifically state no bass drum pedal but do not mention ANYTHING about the snare stand, pro or con. SIGH!!!

Is this confirmed or just an educated guess (I'm not doubting your word here, just double checking)?

Yes... Ya know, I bought the MegaPro strictly based on the reports and information I found on the web. I haven't even seen a Hart set in person, but reading the reviews on both Hart Dynamics and Peter Hart (as well as the very well written info on the Hart website) made me go out on a limb.

Don't get me wrong... I made sure when I placed the order there was a 30 day money- back guarantee.

Yeah, I like Hart for many reasons, but including everything you need to play(except obviously, the throne and pedals and module). That was cool! Roland not including a snare stand makes their already overpriced kits cost even more. Not that I really have any problems with Roland so far, just a problem with the prices. I have a TD-10 and it is awesome!!!

agreed, roland prices are too steep....but as usual us RESOURCEFULL drummers somehow manage to come up with enuff scratch to buy our toys .i have the roland 1824cd and the price compared to my recording nightmares in the past was very reasonable.....maybe their drums will follow suit someday.
