Bass drum pedal about to go...HELP

Don't forget to check out the Tama Iron Cobra either. I have an older Tama pedal for my A-drums. I bought my V's used and the double pedal Cobra's were in the deal. What a difference. Smooth, quick, and very responsive. I haven't tried the DW's which I'm sure are great, but don't leave out the Cobra's, they're definately worth a shot. They fly (unfortunatley I don't)

Thanks everybody for your suggestions.
I'll compare the rack of pedals with the DWs, the Pearl Eliminator and the Axis.
Rick
P.S. I hope to check out the Sonor pedal as well. I'll let you know what I think of it, seems real pricy right now.

INDUSTRIAL IS CORRECT.THE 7000 SERIES LOOKS COOL BUT A PEDAL OF THAT QUALITY CAN BE HAD BY PURCHASING A BASIC TAMA,GIBRALTAR,ETC.AS FOR THE ELIMINATORS BY PEARL......I COMPLETELY FORGOT I HAVE'NT AS OF YET HAD A CHANCE TO PLAY THESE BUT I HEAR NOTHING BUT GOOD FROM SOME PRETTY PICKY PEOPLE

I'll second the Pearl Eliminator recommendation. They also offer it in a strap drive model which has a lighter, "floating" feel. I owned an Axis A for about 2 years and the Pearl strap drive is very similar in feel.

Bass drum pedal about to go...HELP
Hi all,
I know this topic has been exhausted, but things change (new products, more experience with older products, etc.). So...
Any recommendations on a new bass drum pedal?
I prefer one that's light hitting and fast (believe it or not, been using a Ludwig Speed King, but it's finally starting to go-circa 1973!)
Packing it up for the Smithsonian!
Thanks,
Rick
