They look like something one of those 80's pop bands would play. :P

I never saw them before, I guess I missed the earlier post. I almost laughed out loud when I saw them. They are funky looking. The one thing I noticed is that they have some kind of cable system that reduces all the cable mess. Anyone know what that is?

Funny to see everbody still goes down for looks. When the first pictures of the V-Club-Set came out it was referred (correct????) to as being a child-kit. And listen to you all now!
Give it some slack man, and use it first!

I suspect the cabling system is specially designed to prevent the kit from flying away while you play it...

          E-drums: TD-20, RT-5S triggers on snare/toms, KD-7s, VH12, CY-14Cs, CY-15R, Pintech splash.
A-drums: Zickos (amber) w/ all Zildjians.

something tells me the bulk of the R&D effort on this kit was not in the triggering.

There's so much space being wasted between the pads. I almost find it hard to believe that this was designed by a real drummer. The trapkat's a far better solution.

Asthetically these could be so much cooler if they went even farther out though. How about a big round set with a hole in the middle. You'd climb under and into the hole. Very Jetsons!

These could easily account for 90% of UFO sightings!
But seriously, these things just look like they were not built with ergonomics in mind. Looks like they would be hard as hell to play!
