    Have you read the manual how to play decent rim shots and x-sticks? The pads namely only work if you touch them right.

    PD7 problem w/rim and pad

    Hi all,

    I have kind of a weird problem with my PD7 that I'm using for my hihat... I have the TD10 expanded and I've assigned thin and thin edge for my pad/rim. Sometimes, if I hit the rim and pad simultaneously I get a loud sound that almost sounds like a clap! Has anyone ever had that problem, and if so, how did you get rid of it?

    Thanks for the help. Man, I love this website! ha ha.
