  • Yorkville's new powered speaker

Thoughts on this new product ?
Any obvious reason you can see why it will be priced several
hundred dollars less than Mackie ?

    Thanks,

Because when you buy Yorkville, you're paying for the product. When you buy Mackie, you're paying for the product and the brand name.

True. But in november 2001 I tested the Db Technologies Opera powered speaker. It was so much cheaper than the JBL EON G2. Unfortunately the sound was also so much cheaper...

        Regarding the Yorkville:
        - I miss a 15 inch woofer
        - Output is 126 dB. My JBL has 129 dB
        - frequency range is 65-17,000. That's not much low.
