  • PD-80R with Alesis DMPro etc.

Will the PD-80R (dual trigger) work properly with an Alesis DMPro module? Can I run the stereo cable straight into my DMPro snare channel, which is a TRS channel? And if necessary, can I also use a Y-splitter to trigger separate channels with it?

Hi, try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmpro/ those guys know their stuff. As a side point, I took my D-5 out of the rack, went to band practice. Pumped the D-5 through the JBL EON-2 and the band recorded the session. WOW! The snare was thick and the kick punchy! I'm really impressed with the JBL EON-2. Could run the bass player into my monitor as it has 3 channels.
