Well, technically, the PD-80R is a product. But it was a technical question...about a product. LOL
I'm asking because I don't actually have a PD-80R to test with. And I don't want to buy it unless it's going to work.
Maybe someone else here has tried it. Thanks for you help though.

This should probably be under "Technical" (OK,maybe it fits here too!). Yes, a splitter cable should work, as the 80R has 2 piezos. You can always experiment when in doubt (as you may have already!).

PD-80R pad compatibility
I have a Yamaha DTS-70 trigger interface unit and would like to use Roland PD-80R dual trigger pads. Can I use a Y-cable to access both triggers? Or do I need to do something else to fully utilize the pad's capabilities?Tags: None
