    ok, first is:

Using the stock amount of pad on the TD6.......and then upgrading to the PD80 Mesh pad for snare, could I add a double bass pedal?

Second.......coudl someone explain all this Input crap?
First I hear only 9 inputs, then I hear 17? Whatz up with that?

Welcome to our home. You can add a second bass (ie kd-7) to the existing kd-7 through the output on the kd-7 in a daisy chain. Second, the people on this board have many different moduals and setups. Sometimes multiple moduals. Pay attention to the description on the left, most people put their equipment on those lines. You are probably seeing people who have the td-10, td-7, td-6, ddrum, etc. all have different outputs. Again, welcome.

Add 1 more KD-7 will not use your input.....
you can connect them on the original KD-7.
