      Hi Johan and Casper,

It's nice to see more and more v-drum players from the Netherlands on this forum!

          Curious.
          1. Why are the only Europeans @ Vdrum.com either from Holland or England? And how are your 2 teams doing towards the World Cup next year, did they qualify? You don't say you're from Holland (as opposed to the Netherlands)?

          2. How can you tell whether you have single or double ply mesh heads? I hope my PD80R & PD80's are double? They look to be.

          Thanx!

There are quite literally two layers of mesh. If you take off a head, there will be enough "play" to pull the two plys apart, or slide them over each other a bit. Your Roland heads are two-ply.

Maybe we are the only country's in Europe that have internet

              and

Nop, we (Holland) didn't made it this time. It is a shame for all the soccer fans.

Right, I know it's a bit confusing. Let me try to explain:
              We say:
We are 'Nederlanders' and we are from 'Nederland'
              People from other country's saying:
They are Dutch and they are from Holland.
Why they are saying Holland I don't know, because Holland is only a part of the Netherlands.
And where the word 'Dutch' came from is a even more a mystery for me.
Maybe it is because everybody think we are thrifty (double Dutch) because we walk on wooden shoes
No seriously, I think that Dutch came from Diets. That came from the old Dutch language.
Well, enough Dutch History for you Alexander and the rest of the V-drummers on the other side of the ocean. I'm sorry that this post is a little bit of topic now, back to the Meshheads wich I btw like very much.

How do you know that! As a matter of fact I mounted two wooden shoes on my hihat stand. Sound's great. I'm gonna make a sample of it and will send it to you.

Thanks for the amamzing email, in a nutshell I want to make my TD-12 mesh heads feel like normal drums. What is the single thing you recommend I do. Remo Mufflers ?

Holy thread ressurection! 11 and a half years...

Am I the only 'old timer' who saw a Dr Kildrum post without checking the date and thought that Mr Chris Jude was back with us? ;-)
