FSR triggers

I am looking for some FSR triggers that are compatible with a td10. I like the pd7's but Im looking for something more compact. Does anyone know of any manufacture's who make this. I liked the size and shape of the pintech nimrod but I think it is a single piezo trigger without an FSR. Any ideas????

Drumtech makes the Rim Pad and the Pole Pad and they'e some of best triggers in the world, very sensitive and NO interaction at all, you must physicaly make contact with it to activate it. FSR is made by Interlink specificaly for ribbon controllers and mouse pads for computers. Kat was going to make positional sensing pads from a Matrix Array FSR, full positional sensing, but Roland came out wih the TD7 kit and drove them out of busness, apparently, drummers wanted everything in two boxes with everything included, rack, pads, cables, and a brain. Be careful what you wish for. Alternate Mode is now making Kat products, so maybe, who knows?

the pole pad looks like the nimrod, it could be very cool, but I didnt see anyone selling them, are they hard to get or
expensive?

Try drumtech.com . They list dealers in each state. I bought mine at Guitar Center, Roseville, MN.

I've used KAT products for years. Purely from a sound control perspective, their controllers are much more sophisticated than any Roland percussion product. (sorry guys and girls!!)

For you V-Drummers that can't get enough sounds, a drumKAT controller is a great way to add 10 or more pads to your V-drums in one compact unit. Not to mention multiple similtaneous stacking of notes, playing chords, velocity shifting, alternating sounds and live program changes to switch between kits.

And before you ask, I don't work for AlternateMode, I just respect their equipment.

Don't forget that all this power is available through the Drumkat's midi in, you can link any, up to 16 note numbers to any of the Kat's onboard pads any derive that power for your module. It's called Katalyse in Katspeak, so if you want to play an 8 note chord, or do any advanced function the Kat can do, you can, right from one of your mesh pads on your Vdrums.
