Bulk dump needed?

Hi guys, here is my senario.
I have 2 TD-10s and 2 TDW-1s. (More then I should probably have I know.)
The instructions for the TDW-1 says that all data will be lost so back it up to a sequencer. Simple so far. But I don't own a sequencer. Is their anyway to just install the TDW in one unit, then back up the lost info from the other TD-10? Then install the other TDW and copy back? Or for the sake that I might be complicating things more then I need to, when they say "loss of data" are they just refering to user data and not system data? If this was the case the last question would be null and void..

I'll go out on a limb here and say:

yep. Go for it.

If you do get around to hooking the midi of both units together for sequencing or whatever, you'll need to change the default 'Device ID' (17) on one unit to something else so the midi messengers can tell them apart.

Thats exactly what I needed to know. I haven't even plugged either unit in yet so I have no user data to lose. Thank you much both of you for the speedy reply.I knew there was a reason I keep coming to this forum..
