Hart eCymbals II Ride Zones?

If I understand it corretly, the Roland VCymbal ride has two outputs:

1. Ride and Bell

2. Edge

Does the Hart work the same way?

I'm thinking I could live without the edge sound if I still had the ride and bell, just to free up a slot for an extra crash.

No.

You can use a stereo or mono cable and plug in to aux 11/12. Under
"instruments" pick an "x" sample. I.e.: jazz ride, jazz bell, jazz x.
The x samples will give you ride and bell sounds.

I'm confused. So you plug it into the Aux instead of the Ride jack, or in addition to? My whole point is that I'm trying to avoid using up one of my Aux jacks. I'm willing to settle for just two sounds: ride and bell, and do without the edge.

Thanks for clarifying. No big deal if it doesn't work out that way. I figure I'll just Y-jack my two crashes together. They'll have the same sound. I'd rather have two different sounds, but my main objective is to have one crash on each side of the kit (easy accessibility, no matter what I'm doing), while keeping my China and extra (always closed) hi-hat.

How did you end up getting the closed high-hat sound. I remeber the question, and I wanted to do the same thing.

There is a big selection of closed hi-hats with the expansion board. I believe their numbers are listed in the 900's. If you have the board and can't find them, reply to this thread and I'll go downstairs, fire it up and have a look.

AAAHHHH I have yet to expand my TD-10. Maybe that is why I could not find it. Oh well. More pads first, than I get teh card.

The board is fun. Especially with the new cymbals. But I am having trouble finding the perfect drum kit with the new sounds. Un-expanded, I really loved the bass & snare from #2, combined with the rest of the kit from #1. Out of the pre-set kits on the board, #1 is the only one I even kind of like.
