  • DTX Users?

    Hi gang,
I just came across this forum looking for users to share ideas with about the DTX system. I'm pleased to find a nice mixture of users, without the "mine's better than yours" attitude. However, I'm primarily interested in talking with DTX users and wouldn't want to monopolize space on bboards primarily for Vdrum users. If there are any other DTX users out there who are interested, I'd like to put a list together so we might be able to chat offline, trade emails, or even get our own discussion board. If you are interested, shoot me an email, please: [email protected]

    Regards,
    Brad Williamson

Hi, I'm a DTX user and would love to get involved in a list of DTX users. BTW, I just recieved an email from Tony Verderosa regarding the new DTXtreme, twice the memory and real head pads, preliminary info. He's finishing it up now, hope it will be ready for summer NAMM, July 23rd, I think.

Yamaha general manager Minoru Harada about the differences between his product and its competition

" One important point is tone. Roland uses modeling for V-drum sounds, but we use samples. Modeling is important, but we
are more concerned with sound quality. "

Now I know why so many Vdrum.com lurkers are concerned and want to switch ....

Don't ever listen to company bull****, ever, look at the features you want and listen with your ears, not eyes. It has seen me well for many years and holds true for acoustic and electronic drums, as well as anything else in life.
