Who are the people that mentioned that a compressor/limiter would be useless?

Compression on drums is the light and the truth.

szvook (You do a lot of replying, don't you!), I've seen user reviews on Harmony-Central.com and an independent review somewhere else on the web, can't remember where. On Harmony-Central, most of the reviewers give it glowing reviews, eights, nines and tens all round, but there's one guy (and also the independent review, which is different btw) which say that the UltraMizer is good for all it's other effects, but the compressor and limiter effects are not too great

          see http://www.harmony-central.com/Effec...er_Pro-01.html

Also, anyone who's seen/used this effect, will it be up to live performance (i.e. how sturdy is it?)

          Thanks,

          Schmunk

p.s. BINARY, I don't have any strong feelings, but my guitarist **HATES** compression, so I'll have to be very quiet about the fact I'm using it!!
