    is the new td-6 better than the td-8 I looked on rolands uk site and it has 99 kits and about the same amount of sounds

    The td-6 is a decent budget kit. TD-8 is more professional, has more edit-options, more room settings, pads with mesh heads et cetera

      I'd say that was about as informative as anyone can get...THANKS !
      I feel better now as I just bought a td 8 and then noticed a new model is coming out..( I hate that )
