assembling pro live/studio e-rig....alternative to Roland...opinions please!!!!

Currently I have a Dm Pro that I would like to build a studio/live e-drum kit around.....
Already have two JBL EON G2's for the live rig

My budget is $1500 for this project (without the module)...please, tell me what you think of my choices!!!!!

I went with the Pintech Pads cause of the lower cost and the fact that to me they just look cooler that then Hart Accupads...don't particularly care for the 80's look..

Seriously, I'm looking for folks who have used or are using any of these components
in order to see if they work ok with the DM pro, how much tweaking is involved, etc...

I'm happy with my kit if YOU'RE happy with my kit...

The only suggestion I would make is to consider the Visu-Lite Hats:

Hart sells complete kits without modules. This may be you cheapest option. Hart pads work great with the dm modules, but I don't know about the pintech stuff.

To take it to a whole other level and to expand upon what everyone has suggested, I've come up with this ....Am I insane or what???

Tama Swingstar Acoustic Kit.....$490
brand new, available from various merchants, includes all the hardware w/o cymbals, includes bass pedal and throne...

Visulite Hats...................$175
Hart Crash and Ride ECymbals....$280
3 Hart AcousticDrum Conversion
Triggers........................$190

One extra cymbal stand..........$75

-The Hart triggers will not fit on the
larger Tama tom, leaving only only one mounted tom and one floor tom, bass and
snare triggered....
-The hardware is probably kind of crappy, and maybe even the drums themselves, but who
cares I'm using them for a converted e-kit..
(the hardware including the pedals from your average e-kit doesnt look that robust if you ask me)...
-Leaves me with an extra acoustic snare if I ever need it...
-I have an extra snarestand here that I've been able to rig up as a stand and holder for the DM PRO module...

My total is $1390, coming in under budget..

All in all, I paid $500 for the DM pro on E-Bay for a Grand total...$1890

Would give me real drum shells triggered, and real cymbal like play and feel with triggers that choke and trigger the bell...
and a realistic playing and feel hihat with a real high hat stand, bass pedal and throne..

The $64,000 question is...will it all work??

Sounds good. Let me know how it works. One more thing to consider is the Pearl rhythm traveler. It is small and comes with mesh and reg. heads, so you could trigger the mesh heads for a quiet set up. Some people on this site use the rt,s with good results.
