szvook: I just got my BBE 882 and used for the first time at band practice tonight. It was great!! It really made the bass and snare drum much better. I think I am going to get the 442 for my toms. Thanks for all your help. I would be lost with out it.

          szvook,
Maybe you could help me out. I have at TD-ex 8 outputs into a sub mixer, from the sub mixer (2 channels) into a crossover. From the crossover I have a right, left, and subwoofer outs, going into 2 power amps. 1 amp for the highs and mids, and 1 amp for the sub. Where would I put the sonic maximizer? Thank you in advance.

I'm not clear on this, so I'll ask: why use the BBE processing just for the snare and bass drum/ Why not run the TD8 (or mixer) l/r outputs through the BBE directly, to use the processing on all of the instruments? Just curious...
