  • In Ear monitors?

I have been wondering if anyone uses in ear monitors when they play live. i am getting a bit sick of lugging a PA around as a monitoring system. I was wondering if decent little ear pieces running from the desk would be ggod enough monitors.
we use a excellent desk, Studiomaster 1500 so just wondered if anyone does.
If so can you recommend any good ones, and any URL's to sites would be great.
Bit peed off, new Roland kits look awesome, bastards.

In Ear monitors can be perfect but have the disadvantage that you can have a perfect mix on your ears and don't know how the band sounds for the audience.

Here is the site for Shure (& others). I use the E5
The sound man covers the front of house mix.
I feel good playing when the sound is the way I like it.

This last one is hard wired and cheaper.
