I asked this on the FB group as well but trying here. Anyone ever have issues with the micro USB port? When I connect to a Win10/11 computer it raises an error and basically states the usb device is not working correctly and has been disabled. The device manager shows it as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). The port isn't loose or full of gunk. It seems odd to me that it would even see it if the port were bad. I've tried a few different computers and 3 or 4 cables (all are USB 2.0) with the same result.

I get "the best drivers for your device are already installed". Also tried un-installing and re-scanning with the same result. EFNOTE has reached out but I suspect it's a bad port at this point. It was purchased 2nd hand so probably not under warranty unfortunately. I've got a new cable on order just to rule out that part as mine are old generic cables.ATV aDrums, aD5 (Customized)

Hi all,
I am not sure if this topic already has been discussed, but I have a question regarding the Efnote compatibility with other pads/cymbals as Efnote states on their website "EFNOTE's advanced sensing system "ELISE" is highly optimized only for EFNOTE pads, and does not perform well with other brands.", but elsewehere I read that it should be possible...
So the question is, could the Efnote module (3X/5X with the hi-hat) be combined with Roland thin cymbals and pads from other brands like Roland or Drum-tec? Or will the playing experience be not as great as imagined?
Thanks for any thoughts or even experiences!

Apropos I'm interested to know with people's experience of using EFNOTE products with different gear.
If the EFNOTE Pro module turns out to be not quite worth the outlay (no reviews out yet!), I'm considering trying the pads (sand hi hat of course) on higher spec modules at the same price point... either Roland Td50 (which will work fine) or an ATV d5 (should work fine), OR Pearl Mimic Pro. Haven't heard reports on the latter.
